01 About

The contractor trusted
with trunk oil pipelines

Pipeline Construction Group LLP was founded in Atyrau in 2007. We specialise in architectural, urban planning and construction work, including in-field and trunk oil and gas pipeline networks.

Over 19 years we have delivered work at Kashagan, on the Uzen–Atyrau–Samara oil pipeline, on the CPC Tengiz–Novorossiysk trunk line and at Embamunaigas tank farms — as a contractor to Caspian Pipeline Consortium-K JSC, Stroytransgaz JSC, Montazhspetsstroy JSC and Mekhstroyservis JSC.

We work across the full cycle: engineering preparation and method statements, material supply, earthworks, welding and installation, insulation and corrosion protection, hydrotesting and inspection, land reclamation and handover to the client.

  • State construction and installation licence, Category I — all sub-types
  • Design licence, Category I
  • Licence for engineering geology, geodetic and hydrogeological surveys

Inspection and testing

Hydrotesting, pigging, gauging, profile surveys and in-line inspection. 100% ultrasonic and radiographic weld inspection.

Earthworks and concrete

Site grading, process embankments, excavation and backfill with layer-by-layer compaction to 1.88 g/cm³. Foundations and bases.

Steel structures and pipe racks

Erection of pipe racks and process equipment, secondary steelwork, commissioning.

Electrical and cathodic protection

Cable laying, cable trays, earthing of pipe racks and equipment, cathodic protection, instrumentation and control.

Trenchless crossings

Auger boring of Ø1220 mm pipe up to 60 m long under roads and railways, pulling carrier strings through casings.

Engineering surveys
